Aaltonen Motorsport Shows K&N Performance to Race Fans at Vauhiajot Rock&Race in Finland

Racing classes at the event included Super Touring Models, GT3 Nordic, Legends Trophy, BMW Xtreme, V1600, X-treme Drift Challenge (Pro) & Tuning Show, Supermoto SM, Formula 1 and Plan Bee Racing. Entertainment at the event included one of the best known rock bands in Finland, Apulanta. Other bands at Vauhiajot included Tarot, Klamydia, Nightwish, Fintelligens, Egotrippi, Stella, Irina, Sleepy Sleepers, Dingo, Popeda, and Paula Koivuniemi.

K&N's Finnish distributor Aaltonen Motorsport was on hand to introduce K&N performance products and answer questions. They set up a booth near the track where spectators could see a full display of K&N products. The crowd was most interested in K&N panel and universal air filters.
Aaltonen Motorsport uses K&N products on its modified Mini Coopers. "We have two Mini Cooper S JCW that make 200+ horsepower," remarked Henri Nikkilä of Aaltonen Motorsport in Turku, Finland. "Both cars are equipped with K&N air intake kits. Other modifications include Eibach Pro-Street-S suspension and antiroll-kit, B&M shifter, EBC Brakes and 18" wheels."
Nikkilä mentioned that many of the race teams and owners at the event use K&N air filters. This includes drifters Nikke Lundqvist and Ossi Mäkeläinen of Team Falken, Marko Hyvönen and Kimmo Viherkoski of X-Treme Drift Team and Janar Kriisa.
