Award Winning Modified Scion tC Ready for SEMA 2009

Jeff Maldonado plans to bring his 2006 Scion tC to the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada
Car shows have become a part of life for Maldonado. "When I got my tC I wasn't sure what I would do," he said. "I attended my first car show in 2007 and after that I slowly started adding mods to my car." From that point on, Maldonado has attended an abundance of car shows including Scion VIP Pomona, Scion VIP Long Beach, Forbidden Scion Car Show, Scion Nationals, Scion Superhighway, Hot Import Nights, Night Shift, T.O.R.C., Motor for Toys, Scion Evolution Glow and Show In The Desert, Summer Slam, Extreme AutoFest (EAF), SPOCOM to name a few.
Maldonado uses K&N products. "I have always liked K&N filters," he said, "I've built a show car but I've also run it on the track and wow, you can feel the difference in performance." Maldonado uses K&N high-flow air intake system, part number 69-8607TB, and K&N Wrench-Off Oil Filter, part number HP-1003 on his Scion tC.
Some of the awards won by Maldonado are the Formula Drift Long Beach "Best Ice", Scion Nationals 2008 "1st Place Street tC", Powerhouse 2008 "Top 25", Scion 5th Anniversary "Display Car", Alpha Squad Pasadena Nights "1st Place Mild tC", Scionfest III "1st Place Mild tC" & "3rd Place Best Paint" and Image Nights "1st Place Wild tC."
In November, Maldonado plans to attend the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will be showing off his K&N equipped and highly modified 2006 Scion tC in the Smart Wax Booth.
Modifications to this 2006 Scion tC are not over yet. "I have been making major changes to my car once per year," said Maldonado. "After my appearance in SEMA I plan to convert the car into a wide body convertible."
