New K&N Filters Website Makes It Easier Than Ever to Find Performance Products

K&N Filters website improved user friendliness

In an ever changing world, some kind of permanence can be reassuring, but sometimes evolution is necessary, and the K&N Filters website has continued to progress toward user friendliness

Find K&N product with Search by Vehicle tool

The enhanced Search by Vehicle tool located on the KNFilters.com homepage has been made easier to use and read, along with addition of a K&N part number search

George Bernard Shaw, an Irish playwright who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1925, once said “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” In an ever changing world, a sense of permanence can be reassuring, but sometimes evolution is necessary, and the K&N Filters website has continued to progress toward enhanced user friendliness. Besides a host of aesthetic updates, there are three main ways that the new KNFilters.com has become easier for dealers and consumers to find what they’re looking for.

First and foremost is the enhanced Search By Vehicle tool located on the KNFilters.com homepage. This is one of the most commonly used tools on the K&N Air Filters website. It has been made easier to use and read, along with addition of a K&N part number search. The ability to search by part number has been present on the K&N site for quite some time. However, it was harder to find the search field, and a part number search could yield a dozen, or more, various results. This new search field is limited to K&N part numbers, and will not bring up results based on key words.

K&N product category listings

Next on the list of improvements to KNFilters.com is the heightened product category listing just below the Search by Vehicle tool

Next on the list of improvements to KNFilters.com is the heightened product category listing just below the Search by Vehicle tool. It can’t be called all new, because it was there before the update; however it has been made more apparent using modern looking graphics and a new table structure. This will make it easier for users to visually identify a product category they wish to learn more about. The drop drown menus are still located at the top of the page above the Search by Vehicle tool and below the K&N logo, for those users who are accustomed to finding what they need this way.

K&N Performance Accessories

The third significant change to the K&N website is the addition of the K&N Performance Accessories section on the homepage making non application specific products easier to find

The third most significant change to the facelifted K&N website is the addition of the K&N Performance Accessories section on the homepage. While these product lines aren’t new, and they’ve probably always been on the K&N site, they have historically been hard to find. Previously these products were buried in a drop down menu, and required another step from the user by scrolling down the page to target what they needed. This new structure should make it easier for owners of hot rods and muscle cars to find K&N Custom Air Cleaner Assemblies, Heavy Duty Diesel owners to find K&N Washable Heavy Duty Replacement Air Filters for their semi-truck, bus, or RV, and even bring light to K&N Small Engine & Light Industrial Air & Oil Filters for generators, lawn mowers, or air compressors.

Other small enhancements to the K&N site include: an easier to locate Live Chat button that connects KNFilters.com users with K&N’s in-house customer service department, Order Status and Find Dealer links that do a better job of catching the eye, and larger, more obvious, links to all of K&N’s various social media channels to keep up-to-date with all things K&N. Don’t forget to Sign up for the K&N Newsletter to receive updates on the latest product releases, race reports from K&N’s sponsored racers & series, as well as glimpses of what’s going on internally with K&N Filters.
