The website showed multiple intakes for my vehicle. The costumer service was very helpful telling me the differences so I could make the best choice for me. The product itself says 90min install took me more than double that I haven’t noticed any increase in MPG or horsepower but there is a very big difference in throttle response. Had to change the way I drive to keep my tires from barking.

Filter wrap is needed if you must ride in the rain also beads water when washing. With heat and sunshine it does loose its shape and should be replaced every five years or so.

Great sound, you can fill a little bit more power awesome looks but that tiny plastic thing that you have to screw to the metal elbow is too weak and can break easily should be made out of metal.

Yes this cabin air filter is the best working filter I ever received...outdoor dust and pollen,etc. All dust stays out of my new car with black interior..it stopped as soon as I installed it....keeps my new car dust free and smelling good....now I need to try to find out why I cannot get a regular engine filter from K&N..I own a new 2017 Hyundai Sonata Eco 1.6 liter ..I’m hoping soon they will make them but for the last 3 to 4 years they only carry the cabin filter....all in all I will always buy the filters from K&N....Thanks K&N......oops forgot to say your service department is great...I’m on a e mail list with them for future new air filters for my vehicle.....

I've used K&N filters before, on a Honda Blackbird. So l was happy to use them again on my Super Tenere. They seem to give a quicker and more responsive throttle control. I was also extremely impressed with the costs, being less than here in Australia and the overseas shipping. My order arrived in 4 days of ordering . l would certainly recommend K&N to anyone.

Had the Filter kit installed on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee for about 4 months now, so far so good. Definitely better than the stock one that it replaced. Lighter and way less to maintain. Can definitely feel the HP in the lower gears. Would definitely replace all other vehicles with K&N.

This is a wonderful system, I speak from past experience from having one on my 2015 Ford F250. I was going to swap to my 17 F-250 until noticing the system drew air from passenger side of engine compartment, this is the reason for buying the proper intake system. In the process of installing I dropped the angled bracket for mounting the heat shield not to be seen again.This comment will most likely not be seen by anyone who could direct me to a replacement, I will try customer care on this web site.

As advertised.... As usual with a K&N product went from 29 1/2 to 34 miles per gallon on the highway at 69 miles an hour. Put over 500 miles on one tank full of fuel. Average before installation was about 400 miles... 430 driving frugally. Very happy would recommend to anyone thinking about it.

Perfect fit. The fitment tolerance is perfect and you need to take your time installing this unit onto the tube. I reccomend a little WD-40 or some soapy water to help with the spin on technique. All I run is K&N on my vehicles and motorcycle. 100% Satisfied.

I was skeptical at first when different reviews were saying they were getting an added 4-6 mpg. I was surprised and very happy to notice a 4 mpg increase on my 08 Silverado. Very happy with my purchase. Throttle response and power increase is noticeable too.

I had one of these air filters in my BMW 1200 GSA ever since I bought the bike second hand on 37000 km. The filter had been fitted at the 10000km service by the previous owner. My bike is currently on 69000 km and is an 09. So I guess the filter was fitted in 2010 which makes it 8 years old. Unfortunately the rubber on the side walls collapsed and the filter had to be replaced and it was a no brainer for me to buy another K&N Filter as we do a lot of off road dirt riding in SA. The beauty of this filter is that you can wask it, reoil it and she is as good as a new one at a fraction of the cost after the initial outlay. This filter is about 3 times the cost of a normal paper type filter which would only survive about 6 months or maybe push to a year with the amount of dust riding done. Our bikes are service annnually so filters replaced (in this case cleaned) one or even twice per year depending on the amount of riding done. So for one of these to carry me through 8 services I'm guessing it's a great buy. If it was not for the rubber ridge collapse my filter would still be perfect. Thus the purchase of the new one and I threw in an oil filter for my next service as well. Thank you for the speedy service. $ days from America to SA and then 5 days to clear through customs and delivered to my front door. Was a pleasure doing business with you and I'm sure a few of the guys I ride with will be doing the same.

First of all outstanding throttle response for my GA16DE (EU-means non VTC). At least my new fast road cams, headers and exhaust found their air inlet companion to breath under minimum restriction. Some engines, such as mine, get more benefits with the shortest possible air intake, than cold air intakes and that's why K&N provides for this engine the K&N 57i system. Although, I didn't purchase 57i, because I have installed a front strut brace bar, so a higher cone filter than RC-8410 (110mm) wouldn't fit and my swapped from SR20DE radiator leaves no gap in front bumper, so I 've chosen the way pictured to bring some cold air to my filter (via front grill). Last but not least, Dynojet showed 118.8 hp@6100 peak power, compared to 117.2 hp@6180 with stock inlet, BUT...at 4800 82.1 hp, compared to 78.4 with stock air inlet. Did I mention the superb quality of materials? Take it for granted.

Replacement filters work very well, can definitely tell difference in throttle response and reduced inrush to manifold. One difficult hurdle during install was placement of the hose clamps around the filter cover, where positioning of the hex nut was under the plastic inlet cowling, making it difficult to access and tighten down. Maybe on next round of install kit, include hose clamps with offset hex nut to allow for easier install. Thanks again.

I've been using K&N air filters for several years on all my cars without any issues. I recently acquired a 2008 Porsche Cayman S and my first thought was to change the air filter with a K&N type. But I started reading a bunch of negative comments all over the internet about this specific filter fitment and how complicated was to install. However, I decided to give it a try and ordered. All I have to say is: read the instructions carefully and follow the steps in order. Filter comes with very clear instructions and some pictures. I spent over 1 hour trying to install this filter the first time and walked away frustrated. I read the instructions after cooling down and sure enough I was missing a very important step, it took me less than 15 minutes to install the filter on my Porsche. I always have a back up filter on all my cars so I will order another one, you cannot go wrong with K&N.

I really like the end result of the product. The sound is much more throaty, and the power is noticeably higher. My only real complaint was the installation instructions and video are very low on detail and generic for a wide range of model years, so I had to watch and re-watch and read and re-read many of the sections to ensure I was doing it right. In the end I was able to work out the details, and the result is excellent. I have a 2013 Dodge Charger R/T AWD Sport.
