12 year-old Jake Andreotti closed the 2015 Driven Performance California Speedweek with a performance for the ages, as the young driver swept past Michael Faccinto for the race win in the finale of the four day Speedweek at Lemoore Raceway. 2015 Driven Performance California Speedweek started off in Dixon, California at Dixon Speedway for night one of the intense and exciting event. Competitors from all over the country participated with a maximum of 50 cars signed into the Super 600 class.

On the first night at Dixon Speedway, Jake Andreotti qualified 22nd out of 46, finished 3rd in his heat, and took 16th in the main event. Delta Speedway in Stockton, California hosted night two of the 2015 Driven Performance California Speedweek. Jake Andreotti qualified 11th out of 47 cars, won his heat after starting 2nd, started the main event in 6th and finished 7th. Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, California hosted night three of Speedweek. Jake Andreotti qualified 14th out of 45 cars, finished 2nd in the heat, and rounded out the main event in 11th.

Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, California hosted the final night of the 2015 Driven Performance California Speedweek. Jake Andreotti started the final round off on a good foot by qualifying fastest in the number 7P K&N filters equipped Super 600 micro sprint car. Andreotti went on to finish second in his heat race. The Super 600 main event thrilled fans as Jake Andreotti drove a former Michael Faccinto-driven car in a battle of the master versus the protégé. Michael Faccinto used a three-wide maneuver at the start to rocket from third into the lead with Jake Andreotti close in tow.

K&N air filters sponsored Jake Andreotti used a big run on the outside to take the lead from Faccinto on lap six. Faccinto and Andreotti continued to run side-by-side with Faccinto relentlessly trying the bottom before taking over the lead again on lap 17. On the white flag lap, 12 year-old Jake Andreotti stormed to the outside and swept past Michael Faccinto at the checkered flag for the win. Faccinto gave Andreotti a hug after battling each other side by side in what became a very memorable race for the Andreotti Racing team.

With his win in the final round of the 2015 Driven Performance California Speedweek, Jake Andreotti took home fifth overall in series points. Jake Andreotti is becoming known as the 12 year-old “Young Gun” as quoted by F4ST Four Media.
